Two grades. Two tooth styles.
Original teeth
More measured removal with a slightly finer finish. Refine curves + shape closer to your final form.
Extreme teeth
Faster removal for establishing contours + hollowing. Use light pressure to shape with control.
Choose primarily for removal rate. Light passes can refine the surface with either grade.
Explore the tooth technologyThe 2-1/2″ Kutzall Contour Wheel brings controlled power carving to woodcarving projects with flowing shapes. Follow the curved profile through smooth, overlapping passes to develop your form.
Shape bowl interiors + concave surfaces.
Soften edges + blend transitions.
Follow sweeping curves + sculpted forms.
A few passes with a soft wire brush help clear material from between the teeth.
Remove the PolyPlug before cleaning. On the bare wheel, gentle heat can release stubborn buildup; allow it to cool before brushing. Follow the full cleaning guide for the method + precautions.
See cleaning stepsKutzall’s tungsten-carbide teeth are securely brazed to the steel tool with a nickel alloy. Protect the teeth from impact against hard surfaces, especially while spinning. Let your power tool stop completely before setting it down.
Not for use on metals, ceramics or hard stone.
More on tool careLet the tool cool before handling. Keep heat away from handles and other non-metal components.
