Structured Tooth Technology
Every job is unique - you need tools that are tailored to meet your projects’ special demands. To best match your needs, Kutzall has developed two different styles of proprietary ‘Structured Tooth’ technology, in a wide variety of coarseness grades.
Kutzall Original
These randomly-positioned teeth work simultaneously to remove material rapidly and create a smooth cutting action that is easy to control - works exceptionally well on harder woods.
Kutzall Extreme
Features a regular pattern of open-spaced teeth designed for heavy material removal while being highly resistant to loading - great for working with soft, wet, or gummy woods.

The Half-Round Rasps are the 'virtuosos of versatility'. They combine a radius side for creating concave surfaces, contouring edges and rounding holes, with a flat side for quick leveling and rounding over corners. You’ll find this rasp will come through for you in just about any situation.
Their multi-directional cutting ability allows you to quickly remove material in even the most confined spaces. Like all Kutzall Rasps, they have an ergonomic soft grip for added comfort and steady control.
Kutzall Half-Round Rasps are available in Coarse & Fine grades, as well as two very convenient sizes of 6" and 8", to best suit a wide range of jobs or projects.

The 6” Half-Round Hand Rasp is great. It is being used to sculpt Alabaster stone and it works great. I already have the 8” version in fine and course but the slightly smaller size of the 6” one is very helpful in some areas.

The rasp is high quality. It removes wood easily, as expected. Cleaning it with a steel brush works very well. Overall, very satisfied with the Kutzall product.

I do carvings out of large turning blanks, taking them to fine details and a smooth finish. Kutzal big burs get me started, then moving onto the Kutzal rasps and eventually smaller burs, to sanding. Their rasps give me great control with speed and I find that I'm doing less sanding during the final stage than before. I own the entire smaller set; love 'em!
