    Go-To tool!

I am NOT using these Kutzall wheels for traditional wood work. My husband found and gifted me my FIRST Kutzall EXTREME course wheel in 2019. He did this to expedite my time under HORSES. As a barefoot trimmer who uses a body grinder (Milwaukee), I two 1800lb drafts that took significant time. With their calm demeanor we were able to introduce a body grinder and the wheel and reduce the time to hold those big boys up.

As time progressed, I adapted over 85% of my clientele from 2200lb drafts to 156lb mini horses to accept the noise of the grinder and this wheel helps put the finishing touches on all of them. This is a product I will buy until I can no longer do my job.

As a side note, is there any benefit to sending back the old wheels or just send to scrap metal when complete?

    Thanks for a fabulous product!

    Extremely happy, unbelievable control

Needed a wheel to remove large swaths of material (hollowing out a log), with little fear over being bit. The shavings come off as sawdust, little to no kickback, and the bowl-shape really helps in preventing gouging. Prior to this i was using a chainsaw disc, and had it land in my lap! Glad for chainsaw chaps. After a second kickback almost tore my pinky off i was on the hunt for something better. It costs a pretty penny for the Kutzall brand, but they are worth it.

A tool you will not need to replace...

... but you will buy it again just so you have a spare. I am a HUGE fan of Kutzall tools and the extremem dish wheel is a beast of a tool. I have two - one that I have used for a few hundred hours - and the other for when I ding it on something. The moral of the story is that Kutzall tools stay sharp and strong. The human is the weakness.

    Worth my money

With the very course wheel the wood is removed very quickly. The wood I was working on was only 2 months from freshly cut and it didn't matter. When I got closer to my removal end I switched to course and then the medium to finish. These are time savers for me. I used a stiff toothbrush to remove the occasional clog. These wheels are my new woodshaping go to tools.

    Wow!

I am a 70 year old woodcarver - been carving since I was 10. My definite preference has been carving by hand with chisels and gouges. As age has caught up with me I decided to try some of the power tools and the Kutzall Extreme dish sure has been wonderful to facilitate the rough shaping. I am learning how to use it and may follow up with some of the finer cuts once I am confident with the extreme.

    Good product.
