Exactly what I was looking for. Got this to help remove material faster for sculpted chairs and it does not disappoint! I've used it on walnut, ash and mahogany and it eats it right up.

It does exactly what i expected from it. You have enough control to aggressively remove material or you can lightly shape a joint with this wheel. Leaves a good enough surface that some 100grit sandpaper cleans up nicely.

With the very course wheel the wood is removed very quickly. The wood I was working on was only 2 months from freshly cut and it didn't matter. When I got closer to my removal end I switched to course and then the medium to finish. These are time savers for me. I used a stiff toothbrush to remove the occasional clog. These wheels are my new woodshaping go to tools.

I am a 70 year old woodcarver - been carving since I was 10. My definite preference has been carving by hand with chisels and gouges. As age has caught up with me I decided to try some of the power tools and the Kutzall Extreme dish sure has been wonderful to facilitate the rough shaping. I am learning how to use it and may follow up with some of the finer cuts once I am confident with the extreme.

I absolutely love these disc. Made and working on these daily. There is zero kickback on these kutzall disc.I am so happy I found you. I was just about to find another hobby. I have been doing this for about 2 years and in that time I came AWFULCLOSE to losing 3 of my fingers with those cheap so called shaping disc. I have been using grinders since I,was oh since I was 8 or 9 yes. Old. I'm third generation union pipefitter. Never got a scratch with a grinder of any size. y man because I really enjoy this,even though I'm not that good at it. I can tell you what not to buy that's for sure. I have two of your extreme course disc and planning of having everyone of them. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE but KUTZALL. Those other disc are Extreamlly Dangerous . I can make a grinder talk and That the Honest truth. You buy those "other disc"just go-ahead and order your Kevlar bodysuit while your at it & have your local ambulance on your speed dial. You WILL end up needing both sooner than later
