Why structured teeth work

Fast material removal, a quality surface finish + an easy, controlled carve. We developed structured tungsten-carbide teeth to bring these advantages together, with open spacing that resists loading and wear resistance for project after project.

Developed to combine strong material removal with surface quality + control. The structured tungsten-carbide teeth and open spacing help material clear, while wear resistance supports long service life. Grade mainly changes the removal rate; light pressure + lighter passes help refine the finish.

  • Move material. Keep control. Remove material efficiently, with a smooth, steady carve as the shape takes form.
  • Leave a quality surface. Refine curves + details with light pressure. Lighter passes can smooth the surface, including with coarser grades.
  • Keep the teeth working. The open tooth structure helps material clear and resists loading, so the tool keeps carving effectively.
  • Built for project after project. Wear-resistant tungsten-carbide teeth give you lasting performance through repeated shaping work.

Will these burrs fit my rotary tool?

Match the burr shaft to your tool’s collet or chuck. Small rotary tools commonly use a 1/8″ shaft; 1/4″ burrs need a tool that accepts a 1/4″ shaft. Check the tool and accessory speed limits before use.

Where should I start?

Choose an achievable project and start with a shape suited to it. A burr kit offers several shapes to explore. Secure your workpiece, follow the tool instructions and begin with light pressure.

How do I choose a coarseness?

Choose a finer grade for more gradual removal and refining details. Coarser grades remove material more aggressively. The right choice also depends on the material, tool and shape you are working on.
