Details + sizing

The Kutzall Half-Round Hand Rasp combines a rounded side for concave curves with a flat reverse for leveling surfaces and refining edges. Move easily between inside curves and flat areas when woodcarving, shaping furniture or refining your work after power carving.

Shape in any direction

Structured tungsten-carbide teeth work on push, pull + sideways strokes. The soft-grip handle helps you control each pass.

Two grades. One tooth structure.

Both use Original teeth. Choose Fine for a finer finish or Coarse for faster material removal.

    Great Rasp

The 6” Half-Round Hand Rasp is great. It is being used to sculpt Alabaster stone and it works great. I already have the 8” version in fine and course but the slightly smaller size of the 6” one is very helpful in some areas.

    Initial Review

The rasp is high quality. It removes wood easily, as expected. Cleaning it with a steel brush works very well. Overall, very satisfied with the Kutzall product.

    Kutzal rasps

I do carvings out of large turning blanks, taking them to fine details and a smooth finish. Kutzal big burs get me started, then moving onto the Kutzal rasps and eventually smaller burs, to sanding. Their rasps give me great control with speed and I find that I'm doing less sanding during the final stage than before. I own the entire smaller set; love 'em!
