The Shaping Discs allows you to effortlessly level high spots or adjust uneven surfaces. The structured teeth wrap over at the outer diameter, allowing for edge-on detailing. Despite their relatively flat shape, their slight curvature allows for controlled, free-hand, flat or convex shaping.

Mounting Guide
The Kutzall Shaping Wheels feature a 7/8” I.D and are intended to mount on a standard electric angle grinder with a 5/8” shaft. They mount on the 7/8” shoulder found on the flange or adapter included with most angle grinders. The flange is put on the grinder first, followed by the wheel and then the nut.
Caring for your Kutzall
Kutzall tools can be easily cleaned using a torch and/or a quick few passes with a soft wire brush, the heat will not harm the teeth!

Exactly what I was looking for. Got this to help remove material faster for sculpted chairs and it does not disappoint! I've used it on walnut, ash and mahogany and it eats it right up.

It does exactly what i expected from it. You have enough control to aggressively remove material or you can lightly shape a joint with this wheel. Leaves a good enough surface that some 100grit sandpaper cleans up nicely.

I recently had to hollow out the end grain on an English walnut stump. A friend of mine wanted to put a large piece of glass on top to make a table. It may have been some of the hardest wood I’ve ever worked with, especially end grain, The Extreme Disc sure helped make the job easier and smooth it out to get ready for sanding.

I used this to carve out half circles in logs that I made into a log ladder for my grandkids tree house. It took some time but was quicker that I thought it would be and worked perfectly. The tool is sharp and worked well on a dense wood like Black Locust.
