I use these Kutzall bits in my Dremel tool for removing bark and loose crud from the wood that I stabilize and cast in resin for turning on my wood lathe. I use both the coarse, and the very coarse, and they both really work great!

If you want to get into power carving, I cannot recommend these discs enough. They are an absolute pleasure to use and have really expanded my horizons on the things I can make out of wood.

I have several other items from this manufacturer. They are all well made and preform very well. This one is even more awesome than expected. It's like your favorite rasp or file but 50x better. The tapered shape is great for getting into tight spaces. The unidirectional pattern is amazingly simple and effective.

Doing a tile job on an old house where nothing is straight, had a couple of 2x4s bowed out enough to be a problem, used the kutzall extreme shaping disc, with a level to periodically check my work, flattened those studs in a few minutes of careful work, perfect!!
